MG TF roadster likely to die this year
MG is relaunching in the UK first - in summer 2011 with the arrival of the 6 hatchback and saloon. It's a half-sized family car straddling the C- and D-segments, a bit like Skoda's Octavia, and will be priced aggressively. The company says the MG 6 will cost from £17,000-£20,000 when first deliveries happen in April 2011.

If you were worried that Renaultsport had lost its mojo after the lacklustre Clio RS, think again: it’s just unveiled the new Renaultsport R.S 01, a wild and focused track racer for the Trophy one-make series. Weighing less than 1100kg thanks to its Dallara-sourced carbonfibre chassis, the R.S 01 has a 3.8-litre V6 engine developing ‘more than 493bhp.’
The engine is borrowed from in-house alliance partner Nissan’s GT-R Nismo high-performance coupe, and is breathed on by two turbochargers. It’s mounted amidships and revs to an angry-sounding 6800rpm.

This is the new Fiat Panda Cross – a Panda 4x4 with a Bear Grylls attitude and a dual personality. Fiat claims this high-riding city car is as happy in city traffic as it is taking on ‘the toughest off-road conditions’. Is this really a credible off-roader, or a cutesy crossover?
